Announcements

• IRB23 & 24 successfully completed on 9th and 10th July 2026. Our next IRB is scheduled on 25th September 2026, Friday. 

• Submission of research protocol continues as usual. UG/PG students, faculty members are requested to submit your protocol at the earliest for consideration by the IRB.

• Please note: As ethical approval of dissertation thesis protocol is made compulsory by Gujarat University and the approval letter need to be attached at the time of dissertation submission, all the resident doctors, who are yet to get ethical clearance, are informed to submit their thesis protocol at the earliest. 

• Please note: IRB is an institutional mechanism for ethical approval of the dissertation and research study protocol by UG/PG students and faculty members of the Institute. We do NOT accept application from students / researchers from other institutes who wish to collect their research data from L.G. Hospital, the tertiary care hospital attached with Narendra Modi Medical College. 

• Please note: we will not be providing copy of the IRB protocol (After the approval, preserved at our office for internal purposes) to any resident without a written request signed by PG teacher and HOD. So, students are instructed to keep a safe copy of their submitted dissertation protocol. 

Note: Please submit one hardcopy of your project protocol to the member secretary as soon as possible for consideration in the next IRB
