Personal & Family Background:
Jobair Mahmud was born in Kanjor Para, Hoyaikhong Union, Teknaf, Bangladesh. He is the second and middle son of Mr. Nurul Hossain, a renowned farmer, and Mrs. Khaleda Begum. He is the grandson of Abdus Salam, a prominent landowner of Hoyaikhong Union, and Matbar & Sardar Mr. Abdus Shukkur (Jomidar).
Early Education:
Jobair grew up in Pankhali and began his education at Nurani Madrasha under the Bangladesh Nurani Talimu Board. Later, he transitioned from Nurani to Hefzkhana, before moving to Pankhali Government Primary School under the DPE for his primary education. After completing primary school, he enrolled in Hnila High School for his secondary education in science.
He then completed his higher secondary education (HSC) at Hajera Taju Degree College, Chattogram. Following this, he pursued Graduation and Post-Graduation in English Language & Literature at Cox’s Bazar Government College under National University.
Early Voluntary Engagement:
Jobair’s voluntary spirit emerged during the Rohingya influx in Cox’s Bazar in 2017. He formed a team to respond to the crisis and gradually built a youth network with former school friends, which eventually evolved into a registered local organization named HEART under the approval of the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
Through HEART, Jobair has dedicated himself to supporting underprivileged individuals and communities, implementing community-based projects, and mobilizing resources through crowdfunding and global seed grants, including support from the Korea SHE Foundation, BJ Charity, and Corona Force Hnila.

Through these experiences, he has developed comprehensive knowledge from organizational leadership to executive management, which now guides his work as the founder and leader of HEART, leveraging his youthful energy, innovation, and commitment to social change.
