Jobair Mahmud is a Bangladeshi Emerging Leader and Enthusiast Entrepreneur born in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh in 12th October, 1999.
Jobair Mahmud is a Bangladeshi human rights activist, social entrepreneur, and development practitioner. He is the founder and Executive Director of HEART (Humanitarian Enhancement Aid for Resilient Transformation), a youth-led nonprofit organization that works on empowering marginalized communities, addressing climate change, providing humanitarian aid, and promoting sustainable development. He has over 8 years of experience working in crisis-affected regions of Bangladesh, including Cox’s Bazar.
Jobair is recognized nationally and internationally for his work on climate justice, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights, youth leadership, and biodiversity conservation. He has received several awards, including the Green Climate Leadership Award, Policy Action Award, and the TekSHOI Humanitarian Leadership Award. He also serves as the District Chapter Leader for the Bangladesh Biodiversity Conservation Federation and as the chapter leader for State of Youth HEART (Bangladesh).
He is committed to amplifying the voices of youth, women, transgender, and indigenous communities, bridging local realities with global platforms, and driving systemic change through resilience, solidarity, and innovation.
