The 1st Virtual General Membership Meeting of nACPAE brought together members for an insightful and engaging session. Ms. Angel Queen Samoraga, nACPAE Treasurer, presented the organization's financial position and performance, while Pres. Dyan Nicole Francisco shared the organization's roadmap, goals, and planned activities for the fiscal year. Committee members across various functional areas were also formally introduced.
The meeting culminated in a highly enriching discussion by Mr. Carlo Afable on effective communication strategies for accounting teachers, highlighting the principles of the Charismatic Classroom through purposeful body language, vocal techniques, organized explanations, and reducing cognitive overload to enhance learning outcomes.

The technical sessions of the Education Sector Day featured distinguished experts who shared timely insights on professional and academic development. Asst. Prof. Jyro Triviño opened the program with Under Pressure: Turning Stress into Success, encouraging participants to view challenges as opportunities for growth through resilience and a positive mindset. This was followed by Dr. Arnel Onesimo Uy, who discussed Writing for Publication: Crafting Journal-Ready Articles with Rigor and Integrity, emphasizing the importance of producing credible, high-quality research that meets the standards of scholarly publishing.
The final session, POV: The Accounting Educator's Promotion, Occupation, and Vocation, featured Dr. Florenz Tugas, Dr. Patricia Empleo, and Dr. Jose M. Ireneo, who explored the career progression, evolving roles, and deeper purpose of accounting educators. A panel discussion moderated by Dr. Henry Rufino enriched the exchange of ideas, while Ms. Lorenz Nicole Duna concluded the program by synthesizing the day's key takeaways and reaffirming the participants' shared commitment to excellence in accounting education.
