The Prophet Daniel was a man of great faith, and yet, just like all of us, his faith was tested. He was found righteous before the Lord with an excellent spirit, and he served the Lord continually. When his faith was tried, he fasted and prayed, seeking the Lord with His whole heart! What a great example his life is to us! However, in light of these important and necessary, God-given virtues, we see that his deliverance was the result of God Himself sovereignly moving in miracle-working power! Has God changed since those days? Surely He is the same as He ever was! After we are walking right, there yet must come in our lives a real moving of the power of God that only He can perform if ever we are to know His deliverance in our lives!
