Dear Reader,
"The Old Country Church" in Attica Center has many urgent needs which are vital to the life and growth of the ministry. We feel it is very important to make them known so that you may be in prayer concerning them and also know where your contributions are going. We are exceedingly thankful unto our Lord for all the progress He has enabled us to make, and for every accomplishment achieved thus far in the various church projects which we have recently been engaged in.
We sincerely thank all who have played a part in this process. May God greatly bless you for your kindness! Thank you for your kind consideration of the following in light of the reality that Allison and I are currently serving full-time, and the church building, which has been neglected for some years previously, is nearly one hundred years old, requiring many repairs and upgrades.
Very Sincerely,
Pastor Warren
We are in the on-going process of making the needed repairs to the interior and exterior of the church building, with the hope and goal of full restoration. There is yet much work to be done! We are almost finished painting the exterior, and the main roof facing the south has been completed. We sincerely thank all those who have had a part in these important phases of the work.
New Roof
We were able to finish the tear-off, re-sheeting, and re-roofing of the main roof last summer, with the help of some very kindhearted friends.
Nursing Mothers' Room / Nursery
A new room has been added to the church! The Nursing Mothers' Room (or Nursery) in the back of the sanctuary gives family members privacy, while providing a clear view (either through window or large TV livestream) of the pulpit - allowing those normally excluded to join in the presence of the Lord, and benefit from the message. No need for mothers to miss church!
Parking Lot
The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful new stone parking lot. Praise the Lord! Thank you all who contributed with their prayers and finances.
Interior Painting
We are hoping to make needed plaster repairs and paint the remaining interior walls that have not been renovated yet.
Exterior Painting
The exterior of the church building needs to be painted this summer.
Sunday School Rooms / Fellowship Hall
The downstairs area of the church needs some updating to make it more suitable for the Sunday School and fellowship gatherings.
May be made payable to Mount Zion Tabernacle, and mailed to:
