Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ:
From a very young age, I learned in a Methodist Sunday School about Jesus, as presented in the various Bible stories. One of my earliest memories is when my mother led me to accept the Lord as my Savior. I am so thankful to have been born into such a family and to have been raised in a conservative home in rural Western New York. During my youth, it was my privilege to attend a Christ-centered youth summer camp, which played a significant role in my Christian growth and development.
As a teenager, I attended a weekly Bible study where much solid, foundational truth was imparted, and during those years I learned to love and hunger for the Word of God. After a series of the dealings of God in my life, I made a re-dedication and commitment of my life unto Him, and a decision to live for Him always, and to serve Him in whatever capacity possible. Shortly thereafter, in the fall of 1998, as a freshman attending College in New Haven, Connecticut, I was, by a providential leading of our Lord, brought into fellowship with Pastor Michael O'Connor and Church of the Good Shepherd. This resulted in my being baptized into water by full immersion; baptized into the Holy Spirit; and being mentored and taught in the doctrines of our Lord and His Apostles.
It was during this season that I became aware of a deepened sense of the Divine purpose for my life which included a calling to full time ministry. This awakening redirected the path of my life and changed the pursuit of my education to a path of ministerial preparation. The following year, I enrolled as a Bible/Theology Major at Messiah College, and there was honored to be chosen with seven other students to study abroad at Jerusalem University College in Israel. My years of study and preparation eventuated in my graduation from three schools of ministry, after which I continued to serve as an Associate at Church of the Good Shepherd in New Haven, and later at Mount Zion Tabernacle.
Another great blessing in my life was to be able to serve for nearly two years on the faculty of a school of ministry. Over the course of those years I was able to participate in missionary endeavors in Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Uganda, and Rwanda. In October of 2011, I met Allison and we fell in love and were married March 24, 2012. It is my joy and privilege to be pastoring with her at "The Old Country Church" in Attica Center. We are looking forward to the many wonderful things the Lord will do in this special corner of His vineyard in the Earth!
