Step 1. Make sure you have a compatible device

Amazon Prime Video comes with great device compatibility, but it's always best to double-check before signing up to make sure you'll be able to stream content on your preferred gadget. Here are all the devices that work with Prime Video in Australia:

Step 2. Visit the Prime Video website

Prime Video is free with an Amazon Prime subscription. If you already signed up for one, click on Prime Member? Sign In and take it from there. Otherwise, click on Start your 30-day free trial.

Step 3. Create your Prime Video account

In the next screen, you will be prompted to sign in to your Amazon account with your email and password. If you already have an account, enter your information, follow the on-screen prompts to start your free trial and enjoy.

New to Amazon? Click on Create your Amazon account. Then, enter your name and email, and select a password you will use to access your account. Click Continue. Next, enter your payment details. Amazon accepts all major credit and debit cards.

Don't worry, you won't be billed until your free one-month trial is over. After that, Amazon Prime is $6.99/month. Besides access to Prime Video, you also get exciting Prime perks like expedited shipping on Prime-eligible items, free international shipping, as well as access to Prime Reading and Twitch, among others.

Finally, review your account information, payment details and selected plan on the confirmation screen. Select Confirm to complete sign up. That's about it.

On Xbox, get the Prime Video app from the Microsoft Store. Open the Store tab from the Home Screen, find Prime Video and select Get. Then, select Launch to launch the app and sign in.
