Yeti

Physical Description

The yeti is usually depected as having a thick white fur layer that helps it blend into the snow, it is also said to have sharp teeth and a muscular build. It's arms are long and are usually shown to reach his knees, and the feet are known for a big recognizable footprint. The yeti is described to be 6-8 feet tall, and its said the yeti weighs between 200 to 400 pounds.

Habitat

It is said that the yeti has lived in many places the two main places being Tibet, Nepal and the Himilayan mountains. The one common thing with all these places is that they are all areas with lots of snow, which the yeti likes.

Behavioral Traits

The yeti is known for being hard to find so there isnt much info on its behavior but we do know it usually comes out of hiding to get food such as berries, rodents, and fish

Cultural significance

Pre-Buddhists believed in the yeti and worshipped the cretature, they called it the glacier being before it was given the name yeti.

In the Himalayans the locals believe that the yeti is part human and part animal.

In other cultures the yeti is also known as "the abominable snowman".

Support for existance

This image is some of the best evidence for the creatures existance, there aren't any animals that make prints like this so it would lead us to believe that something else made it, and the yeti would fit that footprint perfectly.

Sighting

There are many people who claim they have seen the creature, but not many stories explaining the experiance. The most common evidence is a picture with a blurry pcture of the yeti. This is because it is hard to find and even harder to get close up to, Locals to the main areas that the yeti is around claim it is real and will report sightings of it as well. Another piece of evidence is a bone and the scalp of a yeti that is claimed to be owned by a himilayan monistary
