Bigfoot is known for being a tall figure, he has dark hair all over his body. Bigfoots face is said to be similar to a gorillas and as his name says he has big feet that make recognizable footprints. Bigfoot is sometimes confused with the yeti because of how similar they are described but bigfoot is known for being in forrests while the yeti is known for staying only in areas that are cold and snow.

Bigfoot has became a very well known creature in western folklore and has had people trying to figure out the mystery of bigfoot for years. Bigfoot sighting have been happening since the 1950's and since then he has became a symbol in mainstream media. Even a show called finding bigfoot was made that ran for 12 seasons.
While many people dont believe in bigfoot, its existance hasnt been ruled out for many reasons. Lots of people have claimed they have seen him as well as many people putting out video evidence onto the internet. It is also said he lives in a forest someone with difficult terrain and hard to get to, so there is a chance he is out there and is hard to find.
In 1967 arguably the best evidence of bigfoot released, it was shot by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin in Northern California. This shot has became iconic and is now the most common way to see bigfoot depicted. The video shows bigfoot walking and it looks very real and it would be very hard to fake the video they made. This is why so many believe in bigfoot.
