My name is Madison Paige Gotcher, professionally known as MysticalMattie, and I am an independent artist, songwriter, and music producer based in South Texas. My passion for music began early through experiences in band, choir, theater, and the visual arts. Those creative foundations continue to influence how I approach storytelling, performance, and production. My musical background includes vocals, trumpet, piano, drums, guitar, and ukulele, giving me different perspectives when developing melodies, rhythms, and arrangements. I explored Music Education at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and Music Industry at Del Mar College before finding my direction in audio production. I earned my Associate of Science in Audio Production from the Los Angeles Film School and am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Music Production. Through hands-on projects, I have developed experience in recording, mixing, live sound, songwriting, and sound design. I also hold Dante Level 1 certification and work with Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Pro Tools to bring creative ideas to life.
As MysticalMattie, I draw inspiration from EDM, rock, metal, R&B, soul, and pop, creating music that reflects my experiences and allows room for experimentation. My work explores resilience, identity, healing, and transformation, with the goal of helping listeners feel understood and empowered. Original projects such as “That’s Who I Am” and “A Quiet Goodbye” have allowed me to develop my lyrical storytelling, vocal production, and arrangement skills while translating personal emotions into music. My artistic message, “Find Your Light,” reflects my desire to offer hope and connection through creativity. Alongside developing my own music, I am building Mystic Genesis Records with a vision of supporting artists through intentional production and creative collaboration. I value clear communication, thoughtful feedback, and respect for each artist’s individual voice. My long-term goals include releasing original music, growing my record label and production company, and creating music for artists, film, television, and video games. Whether I am writing a song, recording a performance, or shaping a mix, I aim to create work that combines emotional honesty with thoughtful musical detail.
