I am Alex, the founder of MYPALS, and also run all the MYPALS social media. I am a freshman attending Brown University and hopefully a future lawyer! While I did create MYPALS in mid-2024, I have been caring for stray animals for many years prior, dedicating my summers to feeding and caring for them.  Following the interaction with Stinky (see "Our Pals" section), I knew that more had to be done for these animals. Cruelty, even if unintentional, seemed rampant in the world of street animals, and I wanted to do something more than myself. I gathered my friends and started MYPALS, organizing various events while also publishing informational videos on animals and their various qualities. From college and beyond, I will not only advocate for public awareness of these strays, but I shall be able to make true change!  

Hi, I'm Ibrahim, a freshman attending Hofstra's BSMD program and a proud member of MYPALS. When I discovered MYPALS, I knew I wanted to be part of something that made a tangible difference for stray cats. My love for animals has always driven me to find ways to help, and MYPALS has given me the perfect avenue to do so. It's been incredibly rewarding to work with a team that shares my passion for animal welfare, and I'm excited to continue making an impact!

Hi, I'm Umar, a junior in high school and head of the Arkansas chapter for MYPALS! When approached by Alex to take on this role at MYPALS, I gladly accepted due to my love for cats and animals in general, and wanted to help strays in any way that I could, which MYPALS gave me the best opportunity to do!

HI, I'm Emilia. I joined because I wanted to be apart of something that could create impact, not just in my community or state, but nationally! My decision to join MYPALS was grounded in the idea that I can be apart of a team. MYPALS has allowed me to express my love for artistry and apply it to help develop visuals which can catch everyday people's attention, shed a light to what all stray pets go through, and teach them how they can help.

Hi! I’m Elizabeth from the New York chapter of MYPALS. I’m a rising junior who is extremely fond of cats!! In my home country especially there’s is an abundance of stray animals, so one day I hope this organization flourishes past this country in order to help other countries’ animals! Additionally, I joined MYPALS after discovering my shared adoration of cats with the founder. 

Hello! My name is Elias, I'm a sophomore in college and I'm one of the original cofounders of MYPALS! Alex is my brother, and I'm actively helping him achieve the goal of helping all stray cats possible that he started because we both love cats with a passion. MYPALS is a great chance to help exhibit my true love and appreciation of our animals! 

Hello, I’m Nicky K from the New Jersey Department of MYPALS. I am a young teenager who absolutely loves cats, but there are many stray cats in my area. Because of this, I was looking for a way to help these cats when my friend mentioned this youth-run international organization, and I decided to aid in this cause.

Hey everyone, I'm Logan, head of I.T. at MYPALS. I designed the website and am in charge of updating it.  I'm responsible for most of the digital and technology stuff going on here, save from running the social media accounts.  When I heard my friend Alex was establishing this organization, I knew he was going to need help and a website.  To take some of the burden off of him, I offered to help design the website and handle it so that he could focus on other things.  I am a Sophomore in college, majoring in Computer Engineering, and will likely continue tech work on the side for MYPALS in the future.

Hi everyone, I'm Grace Cho! I am a rising junior that is interested in pursuing the premed path for medicine. I am excited to make change in my local community,  especially as a community health literacy worker. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and sleeping.
