Motivating Youth to Protect Abandoned and Lost Strays (MYPALS) was founded in June of 2024 to do exactly as its name suggests: To inform the general public on the many complexities of animals, albeit more specifically strays. While the founders of MYPALS have been conducting work prior, the organization serves as a platform to spread good works and hopefully inspire others to care for--and be informed on--their local street animal. MYPALS conducts work both within the Domestic United States and abroad; While we are based in New York, we have helpers in Arkansas, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. Our head of I.T. is from Indiana! Meanwhile, most of our abroad work is conducted in Greece, a European nation with a plethora of stray cats needing to be cared for and fed. The existence of MYPALS allows for more ambitious projects to be conducted, all in the name of helping animals and spreading public awareness on the rights of these feral animals.
