P.R.I.D.E Project

In the african american community. Our names are very important to us. We take a lot of time in choosing our childrens names and we rely on family and friends to take part in our naming. We research names and their meaning. But our names are seen as different. Often mispronounced, and disrespected. I want to teach little children with big names to love their name. It's beautiful, rooted in tradition, and represents their families.
