Scholastic and Incentive Awards

A) In order to be eligible, a student must be planning to attend a college program leading to the Associate (2 year) or Baccalaureate (4 year) degree and have a cumulative average of 90% or higher. 

B) The scholarship award will be based primarily on scholastic achievement and potential for success in college although the student's contribution to the life of Monroe Woodbury High School will be taken into consideration. A student's financial need will also be taken into consideration. 

Scholarships for Children of MWTA/EA Members 

A) In order to be eligible, a student must be the child of a MWTA/EA member planning to enter college this fall (regardless of what high school the child presently attends), with an average of 90% or higher. 

B) In addition to financial need, the basis for awarding the scholarships will center around a student's academic promise and potential for success in college, as indicated by such factors as standardized test scores, classroom achievement, extracurricular activities resulting in positive contribution to the life of the student's school, honors earned in high school, etc. 

Recipients will be selected by members of the Monroe Woodbury Teachers Association Scholarship Committee.

Students from other schools should have their guidance department forward high school transcripts and Standardized test scores to:
