For this project, we had to choose any location outside of the US and do specific research on the location that was chosen. For my location, I chose Kenya mainly because it is somewhere I want to eventually travel to and see all the animals in Maasai Mara. I don’t know a lot about it and want to learn more to see if it truly is somewhere I want to travel to.

In this project, I was excited to learn about different areas in the world and not only how they compare to each other but how they compare to the US. It was very informative and eye-opening of how everyone is living in different environments, and economies. Researching about Kenya I saw a huge difference in the population and technology use compared to what I know about and am used to based off living in the US. I enjoyed being able to share my research with a classmate using social media to communicate. Just reading over the information she learned about has taught me a lot more about China as well. I liked how this project allowed me to learn about the different places in the world considering we don't usually take time to pay attention to other places other than where we are in the moment.
