What happens if ... at some point during the day at school or out with your friend, and you notice that they have a blood stain on their pants. The best thing to do in the situation is tell them so they know. It can be really embarrassing for people when they don't realize they bled through their clothes. One way to help them is to get a jacket or sweater so they can tie it around their waist. Let them know they are not the first girl or the last girl this is happening to.
What if your friend seems down or sad ... Often times periods come with cramps or just not feeling great. One easy way to help your friend is to be supportive and understanding. Try to cheer them up and let them know you are their for them. If you and your friend are at school and you want to help them, something you could do is be their buddy to the bathroom/office if necessary.
If your prepared share the wealth ... Sometimes your friend may unexpectedly start their period in the middle of class or during a break at school. One thing you could do to help is share menstrual products such as a pad, tampon, or wipe. This could be very helpful if they don't have any products on them.
