GBV AoR Webinar Series on Humanitarian Response Monitoring

This webinar series was conducted in January 2021 and addressed issues of humanitarian response monitoring in the area of GBV with a focus on its purpose, methodology, tools, challenges and good practices. The webinar series consisted of two sessions provided by the GBV AoR. 

GBV AoR Webinar on GBV Minimum Standards

Webinar provided by GBV AoR on the 16 Inter-Agency Minimum Standards for GBV in Emergencies Programming in November 2020 to establish a common understanding of what constitutes minimum GBV prevention and response programming in crises.

Webinar Series on Disability Inclusion

This webinar series on disability inclusion was provided by Women's Refugee Commission in collaboration with the Myanmar GBV CWG in November 2020. It focues on the integration and mainstreaming of disability inclusion into GBV community awareness raising, as well as GBV case management.

E-Learning Course on Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

This course provides basic knowledge and skills to implement the Essential Service Package, as well as to deepen their understanding and engagement on multi-sectoral GBV programming with a focus on the health, social services, police and justice sectors. The couse also provides an introduction to the guidelines for the coordination of essential services and the governance of coordination processes and mechanisms. 


E-Learning Course on Managing GBV Programmes in Emergencies

The course targets new or emerging GBV specialists as well as humanitarian or development practitioners and others who want to increase their knowledge around GBV prevention and response in emergencies. The course consists of four modules including 1) Understanding Gender-based Violence, 2) Framework for Addressing GBV in Emergencies, 3) Preventing GBV in Emergencies, and 4) Responding to GBV in Emergencies.

Distance Learning Module on the Minimum Initial Service Package for SRHR in Crisis Situations

This self-instructional module covers the implementation of the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) of Sexual and Reproductive Health at the onset of an emergency. 

E-Learning Course on Clinical Management of Rape Survivors

(by WHO, UNFPA and UNHCR)

The e-learning programme is aimed at giving health-care providers and others an opportunity to learn how to provide an appropriate and integrated package of care to rape survivors in humanitarian settings.

Facilitator's Handbook on Basic GBV Awareness in the Community

The purpose of this handbook is to provide information for the community women and men and to help men and women work together to prevent GBV in their families and communities. The handbook is available in English and Myanmar languages. 

Protection Mainstreaming Training Package

(by Global Protection Cluster)

The Global Protection Cluster's training package has three capacity-building goals: 1) increase understanding of the purpose and methods of mainstreaming protection in humanitarian emergency responses, 2) skills development for protection mainstreaming in practice, and 3) demonstrate the value and importance of protection mainstreaming. The training package is available in English and Myanmar language.
