Work Diary for Android Effective 14 September 2026
By downloading or using Work Diary ("the app"), created by Ankit Raj ("the Developer"), you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the app.
The Developer grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on any Android device that you own or control, in accordance with these terms and with Google Play's Terms of Service.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, nor rent, lease, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on it.
Some features are available only with Work Diary Pro: unlimited photos per entry, PDF document attachments, unlimited document scanning, timesheet export as PDF and Excel, the bookmark filter, and the next-day plan.
Pro is offered in two forms:
Yearly — an auto-renewing subscription
Lifetime — a single purchase with no renewal
Payment. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal. A yearly subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the price shown at the time of purchase.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Google Play Store app, under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
Price changes. Prices may change. You will be notified through Google Play before any change affects a renewal, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
Work Diary stores your entries, photos and documents only on your device. The Developer has no access to them and no copy of them.
This means the Developer cannot recover your data if your device is lost, damaged, reset, or if you uninstall the app. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup — through your device's Android Backup setting, or by exporting the records you need.
The Developer may update the app, and may change or remove features. The app may stop working correctly if your device's operating system is updated, and the Developer does not guarantee that the app will remain compatible with every future version of Android.
Some features depend on Google Play services, including purchases and document scanning. These features will not work on devices without Google Play services installed.
You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to store content that you do not have the right to store.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of your use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
This licence remains in effect until terminated by you or by the Developer. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the app and delete it from your devices.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in this clause affects any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country in which you live.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The Developer will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this page regularly; continued use is deemed acceptance of any changes.
