Serhii Havryliuk (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the My Blood Pressure Tracker + mobile application (the “App”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described herein.
The App is developed and operated by Serhii Havryliuk, an individual developer. We are the controller of your personal data, meaning we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal information.

When you use the App, you may provide the following categories of information:
Blood Pressure Data. Blood pressure readings, including systolic and diastolic values, pulse rate, measurement time, measurement site (arm/wrist/ankle), and irregular heartbeat (IHB) indicator.
Year of Birth. Your year of birth, used to calculate your age for contextual display.
Biological Sex. Biological sex, if you choose to provide it, to improve the relevance of displayed information.
Body Measurements. Body weight and height, if entered manually.
User Notes. Free-text notes attached to individual readings.
Support Inquiries. Information you submit when contacting us via the support form, including a description of your issue.
Apple Health Data. Blood pressure and heart rate data synced from Apple Health, if you grant the App permission.
When you use the App, certain technical and usage data is collected automatically:
Device Information. Device model, operating system version, and hardware identifiers.
Crash and Performance Data. App crash reports, error logs, and performance metrics, collected via Google Firebase Crashlytics.
Usage Analytics. How frequently and which features of the App you use, including screen views and in-app interactions, collected via Mixpanel.
Subscription and Purchase Data. Subscription status, purchase events, and in-app purchase history, processed via Adapty.
We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:
We do not collect your precise or approximate geographic location.
We do not use chatbots, AI assistants, or automated decision-making based on your health data.
We do not collect payment card details. All payments are processed by Apple through its In-App Purchase system.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Providing the App. To operate the App and deliver its core features, including storing and displaying your blood pressure history, generating charts, and sending reminders.
App Stability and Improvement. To detect bugs, crashes, and performance issues, and to improve the stability and functionality of the App.
Analytics and Product Development. To understand how users interact with the App, identify popular features, and guide product development decisions.
Subscription Management. To process subscriptions, validate purchases, and manage access to premium features.
Push Notifications. To send you reminder notifications at times you have configured within the App. You may disable these at any time in your device settings.
Customer Support. To respond to your support requests and resolve technical issues you report.
Legal Compliance and Security. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, enforce our terms, and prevent misuse.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Consent (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) GDPR). Processing of your blood pressure readings and health-related data is based on your explicit consent, which you provide when you first use the App’s data entry features.
Performance of a Contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing necessary to operate the App and fulfil any agreement made with you when you download and use the App.
Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing for analytics, crash reporting, and product improvement, where we balance our interests against your rights and freedoms.
Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Processing required by applicable laws or regulations.
You may withdraw your consent for the processing of health data at any time by deleting the App or contacting us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We share certain data with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App. These providers are permitted to use your data only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to appropriate data protection obligations.
Purpose: Crash analytics and app performance monitoring.
Data shared: Device identifiers, app instance identifiers, crash logs and stack traces.

Purpose: Product analytics — understanding how users interact with App features.
Data shared: Pseudonymous user identifier, screen names visited, feature interactions, device type and OS version.

Purpose: Subscription and in-app purchase management.
Data shared: Pseudonymous user identifier, subscription status, purchase events, device type.

Purpose: In-App Purchase processing and push notification delivery.
Data shared: Apple handles all payment transactions directly. We receive only a purchase confirmation and subscription status. Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (APNs); we do not retain APNs tokens on our servers.

Purpose: Reading and writing blood pressure, heart rate, and related health data to keep your records synchronised between the App and Apple Health.
Data shared: We do not share any HealthKit data with third parties, including analytics providers (Firebase, Mixpanel) or advertising networks (AdMob). Data read from or written to Apple Health remains solely on your device and within Apple's HealthKit framework.
You can grant or revoke the App's read and write access to Apple Health at any time in: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → My Blood Pressure Tracker +.

Purpose: Displaying advertisements within the App.
Data shared: Pseudonymous advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), device type, OS version, IP address, and general usage data. AdMob may use this data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent and device settings. We do not share your blood pressure readings or any other health data with AdMob.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your device settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalised Ads. Opting out does not remove ads from the App; it limits the use of your data for ad personalisation.

We may also disclose your information:
To comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful request from government authorities.
To protect the rights, property, or safety of users, us, or the public.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the acquiring party will be bound by this Privacy Policy or will notify you of material changes.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App’s features and fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
Blood pressure readings and health data you enter are stored locally on your device and, if backed up, in the cloud infrastructure of our service providers. You may delete individual readings or all data at any time from within the App.
Analytics data held by Firebase and Mixpanel is retained in accordance with those providers’ standard retention policies (typically 12–24 months for event-level data).
Support inquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter.
If you delete the App, your locally stored data is removed from your device. To request deletion of any data held on our servers or by our service providers, please contact us using the details in Section 14.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
Transmission of data to third-party services over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
Use of pseudonymous identifiers where technically feasible to limit direct identification.
Limiting access to personal data to personnel and service providers who need it to perform their functions.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and preventing unauthorised access to the App.
The App is available in the United States, Canada, European Economic Area, and Singapore. Our service providers (Google, Mixpanel, Adapty) may process and store data on servers located in the United States or other countries outside your country of residence.
For users in the EEA or UK, when we transfer personal data to countries that do not offer an equivalent level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or we rely on adequacy decisions where applicable.
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
Access the data you have entered into the App directly within the App interface.
Delete your data at any time from within the App settings.
Opt out of push notifications at any time via your device’s notification settings.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you also have the following rights:
Right of access — to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification — to have inaccurate personal data corrected.
Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
Right to restrict processing — to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it at any time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
Know what personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed.
Delete personal information we have collected from you.
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are located in Canada, you have the right to access your personal information held by us and to challenge its accuracy. To make such a request, please contact us using the details in Section 14.
If you are located in Singapore, you have the right to access and correct your personal data, and to withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, subject to legal limitations. Please contact us using the details in Section 14.
The App may send you push notifications to remind you to measure your blood pressure at times you configure. These notifications are sent via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in your device’s Settings → Notifications → My Blood Pressure Tracker +. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the App.
The App is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 for users in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
The App does not contain links to third-party websites or services other than those used to provide the App’s functionality (as listed in Section 5). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the App’s features. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, where required by law, notify you within the App or by other appropriate means.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
