I serve as a substitute teacher in the Mechanicsburg Area School District (served mainly at Mechanicsburg Middle School and Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School) during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years and will be returning for the 2025-2026 academic year. Go Wildcats!

I serve as a student assistant in the PennWest Edinboro Honors Program. This includes grading work, analyzing class schedules, and assisting students with advising. In the absence of a secretary, I performed secretarial work for the office. This role required learning how to operate learning management systems and handling paperwork.

I serve as Community Assistant (resident advisor) in the PennWest Edinboro Residence Life and Housing Department. In the 2023-2024 year, I oversaw a floor of first-year students, including students with disabilities. I have been hired back to serve in this role during the 2024-2025 year to serve as the CA for the Honors Floor.

I am a writing tutor at the PennWest Edinboro Writing Center. This role has allowed me to help with one-on-one tutoring and group tutorials in the field of writing instruction. The experience of helping individuals and whole groups allows me to work with students of all kinds of abilities in all kinds of settings to prepare for my career in the classroom!

I serve as the State Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) Director for Student PSEA and serve as the Lead Director of the NEA AE Caucus. I also serve on state (Legislative) and national committees (Advisory Committee of Aspiring Educators). These roles taught me the importance of advocating for students and their education along with working with peers in education who might not share the same beliefs as I do. 

After serving as an ambassador, I have returned to volunteer at the Central Pennsylvania Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar as the Emcee. This role allows me to teach high school sophomores in the realm of leadership and personal growth.
I have served in this position in 2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025.

I was awarded with the PennWest Edinboro Student Government Association Advocacy Award in recognition for my political adovacy in the field of education. This was particularly for my work in getting the paid Student Teacher Support Program across the finish line to support current and future educators. 

I was awarded the PennWest Edinboro Student of the Year 2023 at the PennWest Edinboro Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Awards Ceremony and in 2024 at the Leadership and Humanitarian Awards Ceremony for my academic and leadership skills in the Honors Program, Residence Life and Housing, and Student PSEA. 

I was awarded the PASSHE 2024 Keepers of the Flame Award as the winner from the PennWest Edinboro campus for my work in educational advocacy and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ justice and advocacy on the PennWest Edinboro campus and throughout both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States of America through PSEA and NEA.

I have nearly ten years of experience using Google software on both Google and non-Google devices, including Google Drive, Gmail and Google Classroom. 

I have six years of experience using Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac and Apple tools, including Safari, iMovie, and Numbers.
