Multiple Technology Tool Assignment (Grades 9-12 English Language Arts)
This is a scavenger hunt designed to introduce one of the greatest and most well-known Shakesperean tragedy, Macbeth. This activity includes filling out questions while exploring Folger.edu, learning about the "Curse of Macbeth," comparing and contrasting different film versions of the opening scene, using Google Drawings to create visual depictions of characters based on their descriptions, discussing with a partner on previous knowledge of Shakespeare, and working with the same partner to determine the different areas of a stage.
HyperDoc Lesson (Grades 11-12 English Language Arts)
This HyperDocs lesson is designed to be an introduction to the Advanced Placement English Language and Composition. It is designed to introduce key concepts of grammar and rhetoric that are essential in any writing course, especially the AP version. It includes a pre-assessment to be used to grasp student understanding of more basic level writing concepts to better instruct the students on what they are not as knowledgeable on. This lesson provides practice in argumentative writing and provides resources to ask questions and find answers for the entire duration of the course.

This is a basic, preliminary lesson plan for introducing Greek Tragedy and two of those tragedies, The Medea and Antigone, with female protagonists. This lesson includes understanding the definition of a tragic hero. This lesson also emphasizes understanding the traditional roles of women in Ancient Greece; this is used in the entire unit to show how some fit those roles, like Antigone, and how some do not like Medea. Visual Schedule
This Visual Schedule was designed to help exceptional learners who may struggle doing more in-depth tasks. This one specifically uses visuals to show a student hot to make a bowl of cereal. It includes steps such getting the bowl and spoon, opening and closing the milk and the cereal box, and putting dirty dishes in the sink to be cleaned. This could easily be used on an iPad to tablet along with being printed into cards to be taken home.
Social Story
For some exceptional learners, going out into public can be difficult. This social story portrays a rather unique dining situation, going to eat at a hibachi grill. This can cause sensory overload and can be just a new, scary experience for some people. This highlights the role of all involved in this situation: the student, their companions, the chef, and other people in the restaurant. It includes descriptions of the experience, expected emotions that could arise during the experience, and what is expected of them during the experience.
