HI! I am excited to be joining you and your child at Mt. Washington Elementary. This year is going to be filled with fun, learning, and adventure. I can’t wait to see what it has in store for us! Below is a little bit more about me.
I have been married to my husband, Kyle, for 16 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Brinley and Layni. This summer we welcomed our little boy, Henry. We also have a dog named Copper. Some of my hobbies are sewing, crafting, and reading. I also enjoy family cookouts, country concerts, lake life, and the beach.
I have lived in Louisville all my life (just a few miles from Mt. Washington). I graduated from Bellarmine University with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement as a Literacy Specialist, as well as Bachelor degrees in Elementary Education & Learning and Behavioral Disorders.
This is my 15th year teaching. I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. I’m excited to return to Kindergarten! It is my mission to create a safe and comfortable environment where students can meet their full potential, instilling in them a desire to become life-long learners. It is so important to keep communication lines open between us and I would love to talk whenever you feel it is needed! I’m looking forward to meeting you and having a great year together!
