About Me
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, focusing on Language Arts and Child Development. I have spent the past six years teaching at Flint Cultural Center Academy, including two years in first grade before moving into my current role as a second-grade teacher. In 2024, I joined TeachMichigan as an Early Career Educator Fellow. Last spring, I began pursuing my master’s degree in Literacy Studies at Grand Valley State University. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on walks, and spending time with my family.
