Trip to local sheriff training facility
Law students spend several hours at this impactful museum learning about past and current biases.
The advanced students spend the morning at the local court house attending arraignments, preliminary hearings and current trials. The end of the morning is spent with a sitting judge who answers questions and explains his position.
Students were able to visit several courtrooms including a homiced case. The presiding Judge took time out of his day to answer questions during a court recess.
