Hello all,

          I’m so thankful for all of our members and volunteers.  There is nothing that we cannot achieve together. 

          I look forward to our recognition dinner on December 14th to celebrate all that our ladies group continues to bring to our lodge.

I am now in my 2nd month. And it’s starting to get easier. We have so many fun activities coming up. Volunteer, get involved. It will bring a smile to your face and those you are volunteering for. Happy 250th July 4th. Have fun, be safe. 

Please read the minutes from the past month's  Business  Meetings.   Send any corrections or questions to Diane Cannon. We vote for the approval of the minutes at each monthly meeting.

Treasurer

  If you wish to purchase something for the Elks Ladies, be sure to discuss it with the chair of the committee. After approval, if you will be requesting reimbursement, please bring receipts and a COMPLETED VOUCHER to a monthly meeting.

Corresponding Secretary

 Thank you notes for all those who supported us during our Installation of Officers have been written and distributed. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our country’s 250th Birthday celebration parades on July 4 and July 11.

          Please complete the Correspondence Form after each event to have Thank You's go out in a timely manner.

Elks' Liaison

The LIAISON shall maintain

contact between the Mission Viejo Elks’ Ladies and the Mission Viejo Elks.

The Chairman shall attend indoctrination meetings to explain the function of

the Elks’ Ladies.

 Hospitality

For those who have volunteered to bring delicious treats to our meetings, I will give you a reminder call the day before out Elks " Ladies Meeting.  I would like to thank in advance for bringing treats to our July meeting.

Communications

July promises to be a month full of beautiful weather and many celebrations around the United States. We are so blessed to live in America.  Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Auditor

I have now received the March bank statement so I can complete my audit for the spring. Thanks to our new Treasurer, Lori!

The AUDITOR shall audit all books and accounts of the Treasurer

every six months and report each audit, in writing at the November and May Board meeting, and to the club membership. The final Audit on March 31st shall be taken before the books are passed on to the new Treasurer.  This final report shall be read at the May business meeting by the new Auditor.

Sergeant At Arms

The SERGEANT-AT-ARMS shall inform members when the meeting

is ready to open; shall also make sure the flag is in its proper place, the room is properly arranged prior to the meeting and rearranged after the meeting has adjourned. The Sergeant-At-Arms may appoint one or more members for assistance.
