All students need to go to their google classroom for band, and complete their Assignment #1 by 4:00pm Thursday, 4/2.
If students do not have something critical necessary to play their instrument (reeds, drum sticks, etc.) they MUST let Mr. Paschall know ASAP so that a plan can be made to get them what they need.
The Monte Vista Middle School Bands include 70 young musicians from grades 6-8 who are the bright future of our Monte Vista band program. At Monte Vista Middle School there are two 6th-Grade band classes, a large 7th & 8th grade concert and marching band, and a popular 20+ student jazz band. In addition to their role in band at the middle school, 8th-Grade band members are a vital part of the success of the high school marching band. For the past two years, 8th-graders have had the opportunity to be a part of the Pirate Marching Band by playing in the front ensemble, being a member of the prop crew, and some have even marched with the band, filling critical holes in the show. A model of enthusiasm and passion for music, the Monte Vista Middle School band program is growing and strong!
