Cirencester Deer Park School - Music Technology
The aim of this project is for you to demonstrate some key DAW skills in the context of a remix project. You will choose a vocal only track (stem) to work with, your task for the project is then to create all of the instrumental parts to create your own remix of the track.
As you create your work you are going to need to keep a Log of Evidence. The purpose of this is to prepare you for the NEA exam as you are assessed on your written work as well as your practical work.
Your written evidence should focus on:
What have you done
How have you done it
Why have you done it
Here is an example of what your notes should look like.

Experiment with different types of sound (strings, synths etc)
Organise your piece in to a structure, trying to get some contrast between verse and chorus sections

Add some effects in your piece

Here is a video to help you if you get stuck with any of the initial setting and and creating of the project. I made this a while ago so the opening doesn't match how to set up your project but the rest of the video might be of some use.
