What is Group Piano Class?

In group piano class students learn to read music and play piano in a multilevel group setting where they will constantly be exposed to all aspects of musicianship including music theory, piano technique, and teamwork. All levels are welcome! Students will be able to make music with friends and participate in fun, engaging lessons and music games while learning to play piano.

Group classes give students the opportunity to truly experience rhythm and learning the skill of playing with others as an ensemble. Everyone plays the same song as each pianist has their own unique part to play. Students will receive one on one instruction, independent practice time with headphones, and ensemble practice with the group as they learn their songs.

Current Class Offerings

Multi Level Group Piano Class (ages 8-18) - 6 available placements per class

Wednesday Class 6:00pm- 7:00pm
Thursday Class 6:00pm- 7:00pm
Saturday Class 10:00-11:00am

"Little Maestros" Group Piano Class (ages 4-7)- 4 available placements

Thursdays 5:00- 5:45 pm ( 30 min + 15 min with parents)-

Pricing Overview (per student)

All-inclusive tuition covers the cost of the lessons, group piano curriculum (Piano Pyramid), all studio teaching materials, recitals, awards, piano parties, incentives, treats, etc., that are part of the music experience at Music Lover’s Learning Studio.

Autopay $150 per month- Multilevel Group Class (age 8-18)
Autopay $130 per month- "Little Maestros" Class (ages 5-7)
Annual Registration Fee- $25/student or $40/family due at the time of enrollment and every August.

*Teachers may recommend the purchase of music for special recital pieces or supplemental books outside of the Piano Pyramid curriculum

Forty Lessons Per Year *2-3 extra sessions built into fall/spring terms to accommodate cancellation or an emergency absence

16 lessons- Fall term

16 lessons- Spring Term

8 lessons- Summer

(Options include regular group lessons or half day summer camp)

Please note: On occasion, tuition may increase at the beginning of a new fall term. Tuition increases will be announced 30 days before the effective date.

*Students who join group lessons mid month will receive a prorated tuition rate for the first month if applicable.

*Little Maestro's Class requires purchase of My First Piano Adventure Lesson and Writing Books

Attendance Policy- Group Piano

There are no reimbursements for missed lessons, and tuition is never adjusted unless the teacher is absent and cannot provide the promised number of lessons.

Students who are ill SHOULD NOT attend lessons. If you are too sick to participate in school, you are too sick to attend class. A virtual link may be provided for student participation from home if this occurs.

All students are expected to continue lessons during June and July. Students who "take a break" in June and July will be automatically added to the waiting list.
