История музея
История школьного музея «Память» ведет свое начало с 1978 года, с момента создания комнаты боевой и трудовой славы. В начале работа велась по 7 направлениям. Накапливался материал, появлялись новые формы работы, новые направления. Комната боевой и трудовой славы стала центром воспитательной работы школы по гражданско-патриотическому направлению, творческим сотрудничеством учителей и учеников, хранителем и продолжателем лучших традиций школьной жизни.
В комнате боевой и трудовой славы часто организовывались встречи учащихся с ветеранами Великой Отечественной войны, воинами – интернационалистами, передовиками производства. Стало хорошей традицией проводить здесь торжественный прием в ряды пионерской и комсомольской организации. Уроки мужества, проводимые в комнате боевой и трудовой славы, воспитывали у учащихся уважение к прошлому, гордость за настоящее, ответственность за будущее государства.
Стремление к системности в работе, к массовому приобщению учащихся к истории родного края, к интеграции и творческому развитию отдельной личности, и, безусловно, наличие большого количества музейных экспонатов, привели к необходимости создания музея. С июня 1998 года в средней школе № 5 г. Мосты действует музей «Память» (приказ о создании школьного музея «Память» № 216 от 16.06.1998 года). Профиль музея – историко-патриотический. Руководителем и основателем музея являлся учитель истории и допризывной подготовки Мисюк Анатолий Антонович.
18 ноября 2004 года произошло открытие музея в новом более просторном помещении, которое разделено на 2 зала. В первом зале находятся экспонаты периода ХІХ – ХХ веков. Но большее количество представленных экспонатов относится к событиям Великой Отечественной войны на территории Мостовского района. Здесь же представлены достижения творческого объединения “Патриот” по военно – прикладному комплексу “Защитник Отечества”. Во втором зале собран материал по этнографии Мостовщины.
13 декабря 2010 года решением коллегии Министерства культуры Республики Беларусь музею «Память» было присвоено звание «народный». 25 апреля 2016 года это звание музеем было подтверждено.
С 2013 года руководителем музея является Прокопеня Т.Н.
The history of the school Museum "Memory" dates back to 1978, when the room of military and labor glory was created. In the beginning, the work was carried out in 7 directions. The material was accumulated, new forms of work and new directions appeared. The room of military and labor glory became the center of educational work of the school in the civil-Patriotic direction, creative cooperation of teachers and students, the keeper and continuer of the best traditions of school life.
In the room of military and labor glory, students often met with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, internationalist soldiers, and industry leaders. It has become a good tradition to hold a remarkable reception here in the ranks of the Pioneer and Komsomol organizations. The lessons of courage held in the room of military and labor glory taught students respect for the past, pride in the present, and responsibility for the future of the state.
The desire for consistency in work, for mass familiarization of students with the history of their native land, for integration and creative development of an individual, and, of course, the presence of a large number of Museum exhibits, led to the need to create a Museum. Since June 1998, the "Memory" Museum has been operating at the secondary school No. 5 in Mosty (the order on the establishment of the school Museum "Memory" is No. 216 of 16.06.1998). The profile of the Museum is historical and patriotic. The head and founder of the Museum was the teacher of history and pre-conscription training Misyuk Anatoly Antonovich.
On November 18, 2004, the Museum was opened in a new more spacious room, which is divided into 2 halls. In the first hall there are exhibits from the period of the XIX-XX centuries. However, a larger number of exhibits relate to the events of the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the Mostovsky district. It also presents the achievements of the creative Association “Patriot “in the military – applied complex ”Defender of the Fatherland". The second room contains material on the Ethnography of Mostovshchiny.
On December 13, 2010, by the decision of the Board of the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Museum "Memory" was awarded the title "public". On April 25, 2016, this title of the Museum was confirmed.
Since 2013, the Museum's head is T. N. Prokopenya.
