Check what email account you have associated with Blackboard. Visit that account regularly, or set up a forwarding system to an account you use more. Announcements will be posted on Blackboard and emailed.
Decide when to access the course each week.
Choose consistent times, such as "Thursday, 12-1 PM & Monday, 12-1 PM." This is a regular class; please treat it like one.
Add those times to your calendar or set up another way to remember.
Log on each Thursday for at least 5 min. to watch the intro. video & get a sense of what the lesson will be like, so you can plan your week.
Questions? Post on the "Questions" forum on Blackboard or email Carolyn.Stallard@brooklyn.cuny.edu.
*Tip: Do more in Weeks 1 & 2 so you'll have less to do in Week 3

To earn 1 bonus point (making the total actually 8 points...at least 😎), email Prof. S. Mention that you found this and share your understanding of how the course works and any questions you have. Checkpoints are worth 5 points if submitted on time.
If you miss a deadline, you must still complete a checkpoint but won't score 5 points.
