INTRODUCTION
Cladogram construction and phylogenetic analysis are essential tools used in evolutionary biology to analyze relationships among organisms critical in developing a bi0odiversity framework.
The researchers aim to identify the phylogenetic or evolutionary relationship of the plant taxa Arundinella pumila, Euphorbia hirta, Cyanthillium cinereum, Cissus repens, Pouzolzia zeylanica, and Kyllinga nemoralis from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines using the chosen morphological characters such as root system, leaf type, inflorescence petal anther type, presence, arrangement.
