While pursuing my degree in Health Services Management, I discovered a strong passion for Public Health—particularly in the areas of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Epidemiology. After graduation, my goal is to work as a Community Health Worker, serving underserved populations who face barriers such as inadequate housing, food insecurity, and limited access to essential resources. I am especially interested to support individuals at risk for both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
While gaining hands-on experience in the field, I plan to pursue a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in either Social and Behavioral Sciences or Epidemiology. Through this advanced education, I aim to deepen my knowledge and sharpen my ability to create meaningful change in the lives of those who need it most.
I also aspire to travel to countries with well-developed public health systems to study their policies and practices. By learning from global leaders in public health, I hope to return home better equipped to address the social determinants of health, meet basic human needs, and help drive positive health outcomes and lasting social change in my community.
