Revolution was created out of a vision for a better beauty company, a ‘new normal’. A business that values its consumers and creates incredible products directly from their feedback. We have now grown to become a global brand that still stands for the same values – inclusivity, diversity, disrupting outdated beauty perceptions. We believe everyone should have access to quality make up if they want to, and that every definition of beauty deserves to be celebrated.
Revolution was concepted in 2013 around founder Adam Minto’s kitchen table. Joining forces with fellow entrepreneur and beauty manufacturer Tom Allsworth enabled the brand to grow quickly. The first retailer had a Makeup Revolution product on sale 6 months later. The goal was to develop quality makeup which is accessible to everyone.
Known for high quality makeup with innovative formulations that rival prestige brands, such as Conceal & Define Foundation and Concealer available in 50 shades.
This concealer has received a lot of buzz over the last year within the beauty community, so I thought I should try it. First off in terms of formula, I would consider this formula to hold true to being light-weight and it has buildable full coverage. It does an amazing job of covering up blemishes, redness, and dark circles. It is also a really creamy concealer upon application and it dries down to be very matte. I personally don’t find the formula to be too drying on my skin or undereye area, but I also always make sure to prime my under eye area.
I’m also really impressed with the wide range of shades that this concealer collection has and I love that as a whole more makeup brands are creating concealers and foundations with different undertone options. This makes finding the perfect shade so much easier and when you get the right undertone for your skin tone it also helps to further color correct any problem spots.
