In order for scholars to reach their personal best, they must show up and make their strongest effort at school every day. Our curriculum is rigorous; every day is essential for scholars to keep pace.

Attendance Targets
The target for the Average Daily Attendance (ADA) is 96%.
Note: Attendance is taken daily at 8:50a.m.
CORE
Consistent family communication through Talking Points, Daily Behavior Sheets, biweekly Eagles Nest newsletter, and communication from the principal to families via phone and email.
Weekly newsletter to families from their scholar’s teacher
Class incentive awarded each day for attendance (i.e., points, Eagle Bucks, Class Dojo)
Schoolwide attendance incentives
Individual contact from the teacher to the family within the first two weeks of school
Consistent two-way communication via Talking Points
Personalized teacher contact with parent when scholar is absent from school (Talking Points or phone call).
Accurate attendance recorded by teachers in PowerSchool each day.
Monthly data reviews of Average Daily Attendance by the MTSS Team
SUPPLEMENTAL
In addition to Tier 1 support, scholars needing additional support will receive
Teacher Family Contact Protocol for scholars with 2 consecutive absences
School Social Worker Family Contact Protocol for scholars with 3 consecutives absences
Attendance Incentives for improved attendance
Attendance Intervention Plans for scholars and/or family
INTENSIVE SUPPORT
In addition to Tier 1 and Tier 2, scholars needing more support will receive,
Letter home at 10 near consecutive absences.
Attendance Team and Parent Meeting
Consistent home visits from the School Social Worker
Referral to outside agency
