Dr. Taesun Min, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Animal Biotechnology at Jeju National University and the Director of the Jeju International Animal Research Center. From 1994 to 2016, he served as a Senior Advisor at the National Research Foundation in South Korea. During this period, Dr. Min also worked with the Korea Research & Innovation Center (KIC-Europe), the National Contact Point (NCP), and the Ministry of Science & Technology of Korea (MOST).
Dr. Min received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Animal Resource Science from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. He conducted his postdoctoral research in the Department of Animal Science at the University of California, Davis, USA. He has also been a Visiting Researcher at The Institute Sophia Agrobiotech (UMR INRAE, CNRS, Univ. Côte d’Azur), France.
Dr. Min is recognized for his work in animal nutrition. His research focuses on natural products and their analogs (nano formulations) to improve livestock production. He has a particular interest in using natural products as feed additives instead of antibiotics to enhance livestock performance and health. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 publications, including articles and book chapters in internationally renowned journals.
