What is Ryan White?
Ryan White was the name of a young boy who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1984 at the age of 13. He had contracted HIV through a blood transfusion due to hemophilia and fought AIDS-related discrimination with the help of his family. He died at the age of 18 in 1990, only a few months before the Ryan White CARE Act was passed in his name.
The Ryan White CARE (Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency) Act is a federal legislative act that provides funding for people living with HIV (PLWH) in the United States. The funding is administered by the US Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

The Family Health Center offers private infectious disease care in addition to a full menu of on site wraparound services in a hospital-based clinic. The Family Health Center offers free, rapid HIV testing and counseling services and has a full service PrEP clinic.

The EDGE Pride Center, formerly known as New Jersey AIDS Services, offers infectious disease care in addition to supportive services in a community based organization, free standing clinic setting.

The Zufall Health Center offers private infectious disease care in addition to a full menu of wraparound services in a fully qualified healthcare clinic setting. Zufall has services in Dover, Morristown and West Orange.
