Shredder Demonstration

In this demonstration, we shredded 5 plastic water bottles in a row.  Each water bottle was cut in half, so there are 10 total pieces fed through the shredder, adding up to the 5 water bottles.

After previous experimentation, we used water bottles with a thin layer of plastic, as opposed to Mountain Dew bottles that has a thicker layer of plastic.  We also cut the water bottles in order to feed just a single layer of plastic through the shredder each time.  Future work will involve increasing the torque on the shredder in order to chop through thicker plastic bottles.
