My name is Jackelyn Sanchez, and I recently graduated from the Urban Learning Program at California State University of Los Angeles, completing my degree in May 2024 with a focus on multiple subject teaching credentials. My time during the Urban Learning Program has prepared me to become a transformative educator who inspires young minds and critical consciousness. During my student teaching and edTPA experience, I honed and applied my skills in aligning my lesson plans with the California state standards. I also incorporated various technologies into my teaching, where I recognized the importance of digital literacy in student's educational journey. Overall, my experience shaped my ability to create an inclusive and engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of my students.
