U.S History

COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course we will explore the major turning points in U.S History with a major focus on the 20th Century. The term begins with a review of the foundations of American government and the Civil War. We will then turn our focus on the people and events that shaped the 20th Century and how these events continue to affect us today. Understanding the way people lived and the way events and ideas have shaped our lives and society help us become more informed and aware citizens.

IMPORTANT INFO

I primarily use Google Classroom and Schoolloop as my means of communication between students, parents/guardians and myself. I have linked the Google Classroom below for Term 1 for the 2020 - 2021 school year. The code for this term's class is bn3gwch. You WILL need to register for Google Classroom using your FUSD Google accounts as it will contain important information regarding assignments, projects, lectures, etc. Parents, if you wish you join as well, shoot me an email and I can add you as well.

I also upload all of my lectures onto Youtube for students to have access to. You will need a direct link to the videos and playlists because I don't want to get copyrighted for music/video infringement.
