In class, we use many different on-line tools for graphic organizing, digital manipulatives, story animating, and more!
We use a website called Padlet often to serve as an online bulletin board. I use it to post video links or activites, and students can use it to post responses to questions. We recently utilized Padlet in a lesson on the Arkansas State Government linked on the Lesson Plans page. The board we used is at this link: Classroom Padlet
I have made an interactive quiz on PowerPoint reviewing a few quick points that we have covered in our unit on habitats. This quiz could be used as an assessment tool to gauge how students are comprehending our learning material. It could act as a review tool before a quiz or before moving to the next section of a unit about habitats. This PowerPoint could be administered as a quick group activity to give students an opportunity to refresh their memory about examples of animals and their natural habitats, descriptions of habitats, and what habitat we live in. To properly use the interactive functions, click the download button after opening the PowerPoint.
I created this ebook through PowerPoint introduce the concepts of common traits between species which is a third-grade science standard (3-LS1-1 Develop models to describe that organisms have unique and diverse life cycles but all have in common birth, growth, reproduction, and death.) This book could be printed and read in small groups for practice reading aloud or as a reading comprehension activity, paired with review questions to answer as a group or individually.

This Clips video project will be shown to students to remind them of how they can best prevent the spread of COVID-19. Since COVID has been around for so long, they may have gotten a little lax on these practices so this video serves as a refresher.
In this document, I outline my ambitious wishlist for classroom technology that I would have for classroom use if I had all the money in the world.
In this document, I evaluated several apps and websites based on how they would benefit the classroom in different ways. Some apps and websites were selected as lesson enhancements, and some improve the way that I organize classroom materials.
