My name is Lacee Thomason. I am an upcoming graduate at ECU. I am a theatre education major and hope one day to inspire others! I am a hard worker, prepared, and always ready to learn. I believe I can be an asset to your school with my experiences which I have listed below.
Experience
Mind the Gap
Mind the Gap was a program ran by two NYC directors from the New York Theatre Workshop (Alex Santiago-Jirau and Andrew Garrett). This program was in Asheville, NC and took seven teens and seven elders to make a work in progress show. We took life experiences and put them into theatrical elements. I did this freshman and sophomore year in high school.
Theatre Summer camp: Summer 2022
In Burnsville, NC I helped Parkway Playhouse with their production of The Little Mermaid Jr. I was the youth camp teacher. I helped the smaller age group learn their songs, movements, and prepared them for the stage.
