What is CAD
Computer Aided Design, or CAD, is a type of software used by engineers to create 2D and 3D models of physical objects. CAD can be used to create models of anything from buildings and bridges to mechanical parts and electronic circuits. CAD is often used in 3D printing to design the parts that are wanted to be printed. There are many different software that are used to CAD.
CAD Softwares
Onshape is a cloud-based 3D CAD software that enables users to collaborate on design projects in real-time. Onshape's features include parametric modeling, direct editing, version control, and an integrated application programming interface (API). Onshape is a great software for collaboration because it allows multiple users to work on the same design project at the same time, and it is also a cloud-based software program.
Fusion is a powerful and relatively easy-to-use 3D CAD software that enables users to quickly create and edit 3D models. The software provides a wide range of features and tools that make it easy to create complex 3D models. Fusion is collaboration friendly but it is a fairly graphically intensive software and also a downloadable application. Some of the additional features that Fusion has are the render and simulations workshops.
Tinker Cad is beginner-friendly CAD software. The software can be used on both computers and mobile and is fairly simple. It lacks some of the features that some of the other software have but makes up for it in its simplicity. For a beginner to intermediate user, TinkerCad is great software.
