Objective : Develop a machine health monitoring system which can monitor various parameters of machine condition like vibrations, noise, rotational speed, temperature and power consumption and which is easy to handle, low cost and has good accuracy during its life cycle

Activities

  1. Designed an algorithm for signal processing of parameters like vibrations, noise, rotational speed, temperature and power consumption.

  2. Carried out simulation of developed algorithm in MATLAB.

  3. Fabricated & assembled of machine health monitoring system by integrating hardware and software.

  4. Developed a data acquisition system using Arduino and MEMS based sensors.

  5. Validated developed system with commercially available system experimentally.
