There are many dangers of the internet, including cyberbullying, invasion of privacy, identity theft, inappropriate content for children, strangers "catfishing," and many more. It is important for us to teach our students how to avoid these dangers.
What to look for: Odd behavior, sketchy hyperlinks, spam emails, inappropriate pop-up ads. AVOID all of these!
How to be safe: Make sure that whenever you set up anything with a password, choose a strong password that would be difficult to hack into, use two-step verification processes, make sure to always backup your data, just in case.
