Communication & Attendance
The State of Michigan requires our school weeks to run from Wednesdays to Tuesdays. Tuesdays are the new Friday!
You must have proper teacher communication each week with me and submit attendance form with your district mentor, preferably on Wednesdays. This is What's Up Wednesday!
Your mentor contacts are a state requirement and must be completed within the Wed to Tues week.
Your attendance is required and tracked by the State of Michigan. Missing any weekly communications will result in "absences". Too many absences can be considered truancy and possible withdrawal from our school.
When filling out mentor contact forms be sure to be specific about what academic content you were working on in the last week.
My Responsibilities
My Responsibilities
I will help you log into your platforms (Genius/Edmentum), navigate your work, and guide you through your assignments.
I will help keep you on track with your classes. This means we will talk about your academic progress and what you are working on weekly.
I will be the one to check/reset your work, schedule tutoring, conduct midpoint check-ins and discussion-based assessments, unlock your End of Semester Tests, collect your notes, assign extra credit, and any other curriculum matters.
I will keep our weekly teacher communication logged for the State of Michigan.
Our communication is necessary to help you ensure you succeed throughout the year.

If you need academic help I can assist you or if needed I can refer you to a tutor for the subject.
I am happy to provide resources to help you succeed. Study guides, graphic organizers, or even just a little help organizing your assignments or schedule can make a big difference.
Let me know if you are going on vacation, sick for a period of time, experiencing technical computer problems or anything of that nature.
