Digital Commerce involves the buying and selling of goods on the internet. This is an example of an element that we will not be utilizing here at school. The ability to buy or sell products using our school macbooks is blocked. However, I do encourage parents to talk to their student about this topic. It is important to understand financial literacy when participating in online shopping. Digital Commerce is important if you run an online business and it is designed to protect both the buyer and seller.

A lot of people engage in digital commerce everyday and do not realize it. Obviously, online shopping is one example. It is so easy nowadays because of services like Amazon that make it so fun and accessable. Other uses of digital commerce is things like ebooks and music streamers. It is important to be aware that all of these things are online with your personal information.
