I believe they key to student success is parents. Parents have such a large influence on their kids. Children look up to their parents, because they want to be just like them one day! I understand that it is hard for parents to be present in their child's acedemic career. Often, parents involvement activities are during the day when most adults are at work. Here are some ways that I will try to make it for parents to be involved in our class.
By next week, I will send home a flyer with all of the parent days for the school year. This way, you will be able to take off work or make accomadations if you wish to.
We will have an opportunity for parents and guests to be in the classroom often. At least once a week, a mystery reader will come to read to the class. Please sign up in the document below.
