In my second pedagogy, I am focusing on problem solving and perserverence. In the documents below, you will find a project that I did for my teaching practice class. In this assignment I was instructed to find a rich math task online and evaluate it and then build a very rough plan as to how we would use it in class. In my task I found that it encouraged students to think critically and forced them to search for information. This task showed me different ways to encourage my students to find information without directly giving it to them. I think this will be useful in my class becasue I believe in allowing students to search for methods on their own and encouraging them to develop their thinking before giving them all of the answer or a direct path to the answer. this way, my students will hopefully be able to think through tough problems, even if they dont know how to do it.
