The Tennessee Experience 3rd Grade Student Book: Geography, Economics, Early American, and Tennessee History is fully aligned with Tennessee Social Studies requirements. Every word, exercise, map skill, and evaluation was written using Tennessee standards. Textbook content is coupled with workbook activities to create a comprehensive student resource.Connecting STEM and social studies teaches students that events are not isolated. STEM activities include reading for information, cause and effect, classifying information, predicting possible outcomes, primary source analysis, inference, point of view, problem-solving, order of events, compare and contrast, chart and graph analysis, critical thinking, fact or opinion, data analysis, and much more! In this class, we will focus on developing problem-solving abilities by using social studies, current events, ingenuity, and reading to add meaning to student learning.
